Health Insights promotes its mission with these common understandings among members:

- Health Insights functions to provide relevant educational opportunities for its members

- It offers a neutral forum for members to dialogue and network

- Health Insights members support the mission of the organization and as such will be wholly transparent regarding their involvement

- Its members understand that attendance and active participation is vital to the continued success of the organization and overall benefit for the membership at-large

- Health Insights does not compensate members for attendance at conferences or participation on panels, nor does it reimburse for related expenses; it does not compensate members as a result of their position on the Board of Directors nor any other committee

- Its members understand that the primary purpose of Health Insights is educational innature; marketing efforts between and among members during conferences are discouraged
